Whether you’re looking for a weekly, monthly, or seasonal commitment, Neighborhood House has something for you.

After completing the form you will start receiving weekly email updates with specific instructions on signing up for volunteer opportunities. Because NHCC gets a large volume of volunteer requests this is the best way to communicate with everyone who is interested in volunteering.

We often need volunteers to help prepare meals, Staff our food pantry and welcome desk, and work with seniors or adults with disabilities. You can apply to work only in one program area or in many!

Yes! NHCC occasionally has one-time events where we need a higher number of volunteers for a single day. In your Volunteer Form, select Events!
Please disclose if you have required volunteer hours for a class so we can schedule you accordingly.
Filling out a form does not guarantee volunteer hours.
Neighborhood House needs help filling volunteer shifts from May to September. If you are in Madison during the summer months and would like to volunteer please fill out the interest form by clicking on the flier to the right or below.
It’s time for cleanup at NHCC!
We hope to get about 20 volunteers to do indoor and outdoor cleanup tasks!
