Summer Day Camp
Join us for an awesome summer volunteer opportunity! We are looking for volunteers to engage with campers ages 7-12 under the leadership of two camp counselors and Neighborhood House staff. Volunteers would work with kids ages 7-12, taking field trips around Madison, playing games, getting crafty, and making a difference in the life of a child. This is an extremely fun volunteer opportunity and a great resume builder.
Camp runs from June 19 to August 11, and we're looking for individuals who can volunteer between the hours of 8:45am-4:15pm for at least 4 hours each week. Just a short walk from the UW-Madison campus and on the bus line, Neighborhood House is the perfect place to volunteer this summer! Our schedule is wide open! Pick your times to volunteer!

Neighborhood House is also searching for talented interns for Summer Day Camp. Summer camp interns would help Neighborhood House staff plan, organize, and implement the 8 week summer day camp for kids ages 7-12. Interns will assist with administrative tasks, coordinate with volunteers and community partners, and help supervise campers during transition times. Applicants should have an interest in youth programming.
Camp runs from June 19 to August 11, and we're looking for individuals who can volunteer between the hours of 8:45am-4:15pm for about 10 or more hours each week. Our schedule is flexible, so please ask if you have special schedule considerations.

Collegiate Mentoring Program
Volunteer your time being a role model for school aged children in Madison. Mentors build positive relationships with area youth between the ages of 7-17. As a mentor you'll meet weekly with your mentee to work on academic and extracurricular pursuits. Mentors and mentees work on homework, practice sports, create art, and take field trips throughout campus and downtown Madison. Download application and email/mail/drop off with any questions.
